Keyword Research Tools

1. Searchit - This is a free tool from SiteSell. It not only has keyword researching, but looking for competition, contents and much more. You can download it and keep it on your desk top.

2.Google Keyword Tool - This tool is used more for when you join Google AdWords and also for help with AdSense. But it is a great helper when you are just starting out. Even though I have been doing keyword research a long time, I still like to use this.

3. Keyword Research Tool -This will bring up 100 keywords for you to review and see what will fit within your theme. The full package is paid, but if you are just starting out 100 keywords will be a good start.

4. Nichebot - This give you free top 50 most popular keyword listings. Nichebot also has a very powerful paid keyword research tools. Their full program is great for target keyword research. Sign up for a trial of the full program for only $1.00.

5. Google Suggest - This tool is not the same as Google Keyword tool. Once you start typing in your keyword it will show a pull down menu and "suggest" terms. This may be helpful in finding other keywords for your website.

6. Keyword Suggestion Tool - This will show you how popular your keywords are, with how many (approx) the keyword is used in a search term. You can only enter 15 keywords/key phrases per query but even with only 15 keywords it could bring back large amounts of information for your keyword research.

7. Wordtracker Keywords - This is a free keyword suggestion tool. This will generate up to 100 related keywords and an estimate of the daily searches.

8. Search Engines See Also Search Results:
Many search engines including Snap, Clusty, Gigablast, Teoma, and Yahoo! Search offer alternate search suggesitions which may help you find related keyword phrases.

Good Keywords is a free downloadable keyword software tool which accesses the Overture search term suggestion tool and a few of the search engine see also searches.

Search Spy:
A variety of search engines allow you to see what people are currently searching for or buying. A few examples are Froogle, SearchHippo, Yahoo! Shopper, Kanoodle, MetaCrawler and a variety of others are listed on SearchEnginez.com.
